I love this man. He loves me to no end, he loves our kids even more than that, he's a great provider for our family, he makes me laugh, he's a wonderful cook, he sings when he thinks noone is listening, he laughs at the silly things, he doesn't sweat the small stuff.....he's just wonderful! Life doesn't get any better than this!

Her newest work.

It's called "Permanent Black Ink Pen on Beige Couch"

She's really gifted, our daughter. Who knew she had such emotion and depth in her scribble art.....just look at the arcs and slides she took with the pen. She truly has a talent. Either that or a forgetful mother who left the pen out on the desk close to the edge where it could be reached by chubby little tiny hands. I'm not sure which.

"flexible"

The best example of this weeks theme is going to have to be my blue jeans. Boy are they flexible. They are stretchy, and ready to wear anywhere, and always give me that extra room when I need it! Thanks jeans, for being so flexible!

The Affair

So...I've been having an affair for about 20 years now. My husband is fully aware of it....and has even encouraged it at times. My family is also aware of the sordid affair. I'm really not ashamed of it.

I'm having an affair with shoes. We're totally in love. I can't go a single day without my lover, and I want more of my lover all the time!

Here I'm going to recount some of the memorable moments I've spent with my long friend shoes.

This was a summer trist that shoes and I had a few years ago. We were really in love, and the weather was great! No children were involved then, and so a slightly tall heel was a good thing!

These came from the same summer. Of course this trip to shoes house was taken without the husband's knowledge,and he wasn't too happy when I returned home with shoes along side me!! Unfortunately I've never gotten the chance to go out with these shoes again. They are in their box, at the top of the closet, waiting for the perfect outfit and occasion.

These were from a great beach trip that shoes and I took together with husband. I LOVE THESE SANDALS! The kitten heels are the perfect height, the green is wonderful, and I love the way they make my feet look too!

These are my favorites! The wedge heel is wonderful, the chocolate patent leather, the pink stitching, and husband loves them as much as I do!

Now, having children really threw a wrench into the affair with shoes. No longer was I able to handle shoes high heels, or even slightly high heels......my time was better served by tennis shoe.

These are post kids shoes. The affair ain't what it used to be. Notice the low, or non-existent, heel, notice the lack of laces, or beads, or feathers, or any embellishment at all.

Nope the affair ain't what it used to be.

Now don't get me wrong, we're still very in love.....VERY. It's just the shoes I used to go out with everynight, and party til the sun came up with are really no long interested in me. I'm completely interested in them......I long for them sometimes. I know that one day, we will meet again, and we'll be able to pick up together right where we left off.

Sunday!!

Don't you just love Sundays? I do. It's probably my favorite day of the week. It's our sleep late day around here.....and my husband usually gets up first with the kids, and makes a great breakfast! I know, it's sickening, but he really is that great. Then we play with the babies, and they'll take a nap and we'll veg in front of the t.v. and catch up on tivo'd shows. And then.....

FOOTBALL!

We are Cowboy's fans around these parts, and our team is really doing well this year! Nothing is better than when your team wins on Sunday. Of course Dallas did not dissapoint today, and they won against Philly.....how 'bout them Cowboys??

So, that was it for today.....a great lazy Sunday! The best!




I also took this silly quiz.....it's supposed to tell you what year you belong in....ridiculous, Iknow, but on a lazy Sunday what better is there to do. Anyway, it says I belong in the year 1997, which is the year I graduated from high school! Funny!
