Have you Been Looking for These?

Cartoon husband is driving me crazy. I really shouldn't complain....he works hard and provides greatly for our family.......but he leaves everything all over the house!

For example....tools. Our house is pretty old, we bought it old and wanted to fix it up. So we're in the process of doing just that, fixing it up. Every once in a while when we have the extra money we work on a room and make it better. It could be paint, or just replacing a bad plug or something small.

This is one of the things my husband does very well.....he fixes these things with no complaints! It's just that when he's done....he leaves his tools there and doesn't pick them up. Screwdrivers, drills, other things that I don't know what the names of them are.....and also he'll leave nails, screws, and whatever he was using to fix with! We have small children! They put things in their mouths! It's making me nuts! He even had to go out and buy another power drill because he "lost" his other one, only to find it a few months later where he'd left it lying in the attic after a job he'd done! Who does that?

But it's not just tools.....it's socks too! No matter where he takes them off at, he leaves them there forever! I've never seen him pick up a pair of socks that he removed from his feet. Never! And if I don't pick them up.....they'll sit there until I do!

I've decided what I'm going to do! I've gotten a box...and it's just big enough to fit under our bed. I'm going to put it under the bed on my side and fill it with all the odds and ends of his that I find lying around the house. Tools, clothes, wallet, watch, keys.....whatever! And then when I hear the "Honey, where's my ___________?" I'll let him look for a while and then go and get it and surprise him! I'll wait and see how much stuff I can collect, and maybe I'll wrap it up for him for Christmas with a card that says "Have you been looking for these?"
